Marketing & Sales: Coaching
Many excellent advisors have difficulty raising money because they are unable to communicate the benefits of their program in face-to-face meetings with investors. Encounters with prospects can be daunting and confusing due to a lack of understanding of the needs, desires, and objectives of the investor. Yet these meetings are crucial to raising money, particularly in the early stages of a program.
Spectrum enhances presentation skills through "coaching" sessions designed to improve performance in face-to-face meetings. Presentations are practiced, critiqued, and improved through simulated interviews with potential investors. Some of the focus areas include:
- when and how to use a written presentation
- focusing on the prospect's needs
- adapting to the prospect's communication style
- developing effective responses to difficult questions
- identifying and addressing
the investor's true concerns
We also work with managers to identify aspects of their programs that are likely to concern investors and practice responses to address those concerns.
